Chris Leyenberger, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
President, CenterLine Associates

Chris Leyenberger has first hand experience as a builder, architect and owner. While obtaining his BA of Architecture from Virginia Tech, he co-oped with a construction company working on an office building he helped design with Vincent Kling Partners during the previous summer. Chris obtained his architecture registration while working for a large firm in Houston on education and hospitality projects. He learned the owner’s perspective while working for the founder of the Trammel Crow Company designing and building hotels throughout the US and Caribbean.

Chris formed a premier technical services group for a large CM firm to help owners and design teams make good decisions during the critical planning phase of projects based on accurate conceptual estimates and schedules. Chris helped Rutgers University successfully deliver over 50 projects through a project management staff extension program and became the firm’s University Center of Excellence.

Over the years Chris has worked his way “upstream” to improve the project delivery process, now consulting with owner’s organizations to help improve their staff’s management of projects and capital programs. He’s innovative best practice development programs have helped major institutions implement breakthrough improvements to their internal organizations, processes and management tools. He specializes in facilitating high performance team building and dispute resolution workshops.

As President of CenterLine Associates, Chris applies his extensive experience in planning, design and construction of major buildings and capital programs to help owner’s organizations be the best they can be. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, National council of Architectural Registration Board and a LEED accredited professional. He has guest lectured on program and project management at numerous Universities and Associations.
